Solution Design

We adopted a "three-layer lighting environment" strategy, combining international lighting standards (IEC 62471) with the characteristics of jewelry display:

Basic lighting layer: 28 sets of customized LED panel lights (color temperature 4000K, color rendering index Ra≥95) were installed to ensure uniform illumination of 500 lux throughout the entire space, 

eliminating shadows and dark spots.

Accent lighting layer: 24 sets of adjustable track spotlights (3000K warm light, beam angle 15°) were deployed in 12 core display cases to precisely focus on the facets of the jewelry, enhancing brilliance and 

three-dimensionality; RGBW color-changing lights were added specifically for the jadeite area to dynamically simulate natural light environments and highlight the warm and lustrous texture of the jade.

Ambient lighting layer: Hidden light strips were embedded in the entrance and VIP areas, combined with an intelligent dimming system (supporting APP remote control), to achieve scene switching between 

soft morning light and dazzling evening light, creating a high-end immersive experience.

Low-blue light, flicker-free LED light sources were used throughout, meeting national green shopping mall certification standards, with an estimated annual electricity saving of 35%.

Implementation Process

Research Phase (2 weeks): On-site data was measured using a spectrometer, and a customized solution was developed based on the characteristics of different jewelry categories (e.g., gold requires warm 

light to highlight its texture, while diamonds require cool light to enhance their brilliance).

Installation Phase (3 weeks): Construction was carried out in different areas to avoid business interruption. A professional team completed the light fixture positioning, circuit optimization, and intelligent 

system integration; the height of the display cases and reflective materials were adjusted simultaneously to maximize light reflection.

Commissioning Phase (1 week): Jewelry appraisers were invited to participate in the effect evaluation, and fine adjustments were made to the angle and color temperature, resulting in a 40% increase in 

diamond brilliance and a 50% increase in customer dwell time.

Results and Value

Sales Improvement: Within 3 months of project completion, the average transaction value increased by 22% (from an average of 1800 RMB to 2200 RMB), and the transaction rate of high-value jewelry (unit 

price exceeding 50,000 RMB) increased by 30%.

Experience Optimization: Customer satisfaction surveys showed that 95% of respondents praised the lighting for making the jewelry more dazzling, and the complaint rate decreased by 70%; significant 

energy savings were achieved, with an annual reduction in electricity costs of 28,000 RMB. Brand empowerment: Lighting design incorporates classic elements of Lao Feng Xiang (such as antique bronze 

patterns in the lighting fixtures), strengthening cultural identity and serving as a successful model for regional franchisees.
